The fourth professional online event this year, organized by the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education, took place on Friday, 19 March 2021. It focused on improving the learning objectives of study programmes and on the “Graduate profile” of the higher education institution. A greater emphasis is now placed on the applicability of education for employment and practice. The event freely followed up on previous similar events focused on new requirements for the quality of study programmes or on submitting applications for granting the accreditation of new study programmes.
Higher education institutions are currently reviewing their study programme offerings concerning new quality requirements. Repeated high participation in events testifies to the great interest from virtually all higher education institutions. New quality assurance mechanisms are clarified, as well as the specificities of evaluating compliance with accreditation standards. They help institutions to prepare for new accreditations and thus improve the quality of higher education provided.
