The Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education has taken over the agenda of the Accreditation Commission, an advisory body of the Government of the Slovak Republic, and part of the competencies of the Ministry of Education, Research, and Sports of the Slovak Republic concerning the granting of accreditation decisions. Pending procedures will be completed according to the old criteria but according to new procedures, e. g. new expert working groups.
