We invite you on November 25, 2021 at 10:00. to the final meeting on the project organized by the Institute for Strategies and Analysis of the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the European Commission and the OECD “Improving the Quality of Higher Education”, in which we participated. The final project report includes an evaluation of Slovak higher education performance, a reform action plan aimed at improving higher education management and funding, and international examples of higher education reform that Slovak policymakers and institutional leaders may find useful as they work together to improve the national higher education system. The chapter of the report containing the action plan has been translated into Slovak and is attached to this invitation.
The final event will include messages from the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic and introductory speeches by representatives of the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education, the European Commission and the OECD. This will be followed by a presentation of the findings and recommendations of the OECD and the views and initiatives of Slovak entities in the field of higher education, including opportunities for questions and answers.
