We are shocked by the tragic event that happened on Sunday evening on Zochova Street in Bratislava, and especially by its tragic consequences, when the lives of young people, and students, were extinguished. We are trying to help universities improve the quality of education so that young people have a better chance of success in their professional careers and life – what a stark paradox when human lives are definitely extinguished because of another person’s irresponsibility. We extend our sincere condolences to the families and friends. We grieve with the academic community.
